The highest waterfall in Sylhet

In Bangladesh, there are many waterfalls. Madhabkunda is one of the highest in this country. The waterfall is 200 ft high. It is situated in Baralekha  Upazila in Moulavibazar District, Sylhet Division. THis waterfall is a popular tourist spot in the whole country. It is surrounded by a forest with huge rocks and mountain. The views attract many tourists for picnic parties.  The distance from Dhaka to Sylhet is 245 Km and approximately few hours to reach depends on transportation systems. People can use transport like:

By road: There are many luxury bus services such as Hanif, Shohag, Green line and so on. A/C and non-A/C both are available. The fare of non-A/C bus is lower compared to A/C bus. The bus available from Sayedabad bus terminal.

By Train: Dhaka to Sylhet train tickets are accessible from Biman-bandar or Kamalapur railway station or purchase directly from online. The train starts from Kamalapur and it will drop at Kalaura junction, from there it will take 3 hours to reach destination place.

By air: Journey by plane is most fantastic. It is very expensive because the fare is too high. Although, it is very pleasure to travel by plane and also less time-consuming. The journey time becomes too short. Acquiring tickets directly by online or book through travel & tourism centre.
After that, departure starts from  Hazarat Shahajalal international Aiport Dhaka through several local Airlines like US Bangla, GMG Airlines etc. It will take 45 minutes to reach there at Sylhet Osmani international airport. There are a lot of taxi cab available besides the airport.

After reaching at Borolekha eco park gate, it will take 15 minutes to see waterfall. The best time to visit there at November to April because that time weather is cool and possibility of rainfalls. On the other hand, in rainy seasons the speed of the waterfall increases leads to rise howling sounds of waterfall. that makes place crowds. As well as, water in this season is massive also force increases. It becomes riskier to go close to the waterfall because sometimes hard rock falls from the hills by forces of the waterfall.
